Christianity isn’t just a religion, it isn’t a concept or a list of moral standards. It is a lifestyle, a way of life. Second Corinthians challenges those who are followers of Jesus to examine every area of life through the lens of Jesus and His gospel. In this letter Paul encourages us to have a Holy Spirit’s eye view of things; to understand who we are, to be generous and to serve God with all our strength even in the midst of suffering and persecution. He reminds us that the Church is not just a social club, a place to get comfortable or where we stroke each other’s egos, but for the church to live is Christ and we are called to surrender to him and fight for His cause. Followers of Jesus cannot compromise when it comes to living their lives for Jesus. It is a Lifestyle of Christianity where we Live Life through Jesus and His gospel.
