I want us to lift the veil and begin to see with our spiritual eyes that there is a spiritual realm, that is more real than this. It is more vibrant, more colourful, that we can experience through our spiritual and physical senses. Most of the time we go around with our eyes shut unaware of what God is doing, saying, revealing, but God wants us to see, because he love s so much that he will use any means to reveal himself to people, and see them healed and set free. He needs a church that will see into the spiritual realm, and are able to partner with what God is doing. For some of you, that maybe through prophetic art, words or songs. For others it might be a thought, an encounter, an idea. For some it might be a vision, a dream, an impression. For still others you might see, smell, or even feel something. I have walked into rooms and smelt the presence of angels, I have been praying and seen Jesus turn up. I want to encourage us all that God will reveal himself to you in the way that you connect, it may look different to someone else, but all of us who have received the life of Jesus, have the privilege to see in to heaven and to work in the supernatural. ...

When we think of prophecy, many people think its a bit of mumbo jambo. Stick your finger in the air, and guess which way the wind is blowing. Yet prophecy is God's very will and word to us, that can unlock the realm of heaven to collide with earth. Prophecy is not just guessing or hedging your bets, but it is specific and purposeful, able to redirect the course of our lives for good. Today I want us to see how accurate prophecy is, that we are all able to speak prophetically over our lives, and our church, as well as others. Prophecy ultimately is the spirit of the Lord upon us, anointing us to bring good news to the poor, to bind up the brokenhearted and bring liberty to the captives. Speaking prophetically or speaking life, is what we should be doing all the time in every situation.   ...

Prayer meetings are often seen as dull and boring. They are notoriously the worst attended meetings, and yet my prayer is that as a church we will reverse that and they will become our greatest, and most strategic meeting of all, where literally as we pray heaven opens up, and engulfs this world with love, hope, power, healing and wholeness. Today I want us to begin to see how through prayer everything is possible, yes we have authority to go into the world to heal sick, cast out demons and raise the dead, but it is all seated in love and intimacy with Jesus. It is only possible in the quiet place of prayer, where we actually connect with the heart beat of God. In that place prayer truly is the power house of the church…! ...

Being a Christian isn’t always easy… If we truly want to live for Christ - it costs, we need perseverance, we need to be willing to let go of our life, and as Jesus said - we need to loose our life, if we want to truly find his. I have been asking myself - What Kind of Christians is the church producing today? Are we anything like the picture God had in mind? We want to portray the true gospel, and see real authentic Christians being disciples and looking to make other disciples, who are willing to come and be a living sacrifice and whose delight is Jesus....

What it is to be free. Over the centuries people have fought for freedom - freedom of speech, freedom to vote, freedom to be. I think of the great Christian William Wilberforce - who fought to ban slavery, so that men and woman could be free. But there is something greater at stake here, something bigger than the earthly struggles we face, and that is eternal salvation, eternal freedom - this is the reason Jesus came - to give us life, Jesus came to cut us off from the power of sin, so we could stand right before God forever free....
