Introduction:
The Greatest showman was very popular last year, and continues to be popular as famous artists bring out remixes of the various songs. But why was it so popular? Because it’s a great show and a great story. Everyone likes the underdog coming through, and everyone likes a good show in the process. Well the events of Easter is one of those stories - the underdog comes through, disaster turns to victory. Death gets defeated by life, sin a Saviour, Satan a redeemer, goodness overcomes evil - now that is truly the greatest show.
Key Verse:
let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. (Luke 22v26). Simon, Simon, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers. (Luke 22v31-32)
Some Thoughts:
Do you believe the statements of Jesus above or are you still proving yourself by your achievements. Do you believe the worlds lies of title, power, money, success is what make a person, or Jesus truth that to love, to serve, to lay down, to be the least is what makes you great? How can you replace the lies with truth? How does Jesus words to Simon Peter also comfort you in this journey? How is God using he bad situations to strengthen your faith?

I have been asking myself - What Kind of Christians is the church producing today? Are we anything like the picture God had in mind? We want to portray the true gospel, and see real authentic Christians being disciples and looking to make other disciples, who are willing to come and be a living sacrifice and whose delight is Jesus....
