Youth & Schools
Life+ is a six session course designed to enable young people to develop their self confidence, character & sense of identity through adventure activities and learning centered on the KS3-4 Personal Wellbeing curriculum.
Making good choices,
This programme will be offered to schools for free to ensure there are no barriers to young people being able to access this course.
This means that the charity will be looking elsewhere for the funding to subsidise the programme. Rather than rely on grants for funding applications, we would like to offer local businesses the opportunity to support this work.
Life+ for your business
By sending your employees on one of our Adventure days, you will be helping to subsidise the Life+ programme with young people, some of whom will be future employees and working as part of your team so now is a good time to invest in their future.
How will your business benefit?
- Your employees will have a day of Adventure activities to boost team work & morale
- You will directly support this work with young people in the local area
- Your business name will be listed on our website as supporters and, also on any future publicity
We believe this is an appropriate & sustainable method of funding this programme as, Life+ seeks to support the growth of character, confidence & perserverance in young people as they develop to adulthood & prepare for employment.
How it works
We will take a small group of your staff on a day’s Adventure activities with a lunch provided. The activities can be chosen from the list below:
- Team development activities
- Climbing (Outdoor or Indoor)
- Moorland Walk
- Rock Scramble
