Introduction
Friendship are complicated affairs, often full of extremes where there is fun joy, excitement, or devastation tears and despair. Friendships seem to be important for some people and not for others. Some people love to invest time and energy into people, while others just couldn't care less. Relationships require effort and investment, they need to be two sided and worked at. So what can we learn from Jesus on friendship?

Introduction
Last week we looked at Jesus as God, and how the bible time and time again affirmed that Jesus was God, but that's not the only thing the bible has to say about Jesus.
It also says he was human.
This mind-blowing truth has stirred questions, debate and even outrage throughout the centuries. Could God really give up his throne and become an ordinary baby?

Introduction:
Life can often feel like a roller coaster with its ups and downs. Sometimes it can feel like it just one big uphill battle. But should it really be like this? Is there a way in which we can live where no matter what life throws we still have peace, and life is still being lived to the full? Introduction
Jesus was not immune to suffering pain and grief. He knew what it was to lose a best friend to death. He knew what it was to be betrayed by those who love him the most. He knew what it was to be accused of something he didn’t do, to be persecuted as an impostor, to be both physically and verbally abused. Jesus experienced the lot and yet remained focused on the goal. He never gave up, he never became bitter, he never stopped loving, he always lived for others. So what can we learn from Jesus as we go through our own heartbreak, suffering, pain and grief?

Introduction:
Over the last few months we have talked a lot about perspectives, and when we have a narrow perspective its really hard to see what is really going on. Most of us are pretty consumed with whats in front of us, the next dream, or the recent crisis. These things although important can become so big that they cloud out everything, even how we view people and their motives, or how we understand a situation. The danger of this, is that we can make wrong decisions or come to unhelpful conclusions. We need to see things differently, we need to see as God sees.

The Bible tells us to taste and see that the Lord is Good. It gives us the encouragement that if we read the bible through the inspiration of the Holy spirit it becomes like food to our souls - it does us good. Soul Food is therefore our weekly mediation, an opportunity for us to read and allow Scripture, the bible, to become part of our lives. So we encourage you to read or listen, ask questions and apply to your life.
